Do I have to be a Green Club Member to join?
Not at all! Everyone is welcome. However you do get exclusive pricing as a Green Club member.
What if I don't have a teammate?
No problem! Many golfers sign up as "singles." If you register without a partner, we will add you to our singles queue and pair you with another player of a similar skill level. It’s a fantastic way to meet new playing partners at the club.
What is a Trackman Handicap?
A Trackman Handicap is a digital representation of your skill level based on your simulator rounds. It ensures that players of all abilities can compete fairly.
Requirement: To have an accurate handicap for the league, you must post at least one 18-hole round or two 9-hole rounds in the Trackman Golf App (with no mulligans!) before the season starts.
Note: Players without a logged handicap by the start date will be assigned a 0 HCP.
What if I can't make my Wednesday 6:30 or 8pm time slot?
Because league play requires pre-scheduled bays and specific pairings, consistency is key. However, we know life happens:
Advance Notice: If you know you'll be absent, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance.
Substitutes: You are welcome to bring a substitute player to fill in for a week so your team doesn't forfeit your match.
Emergencies: If something comes up last minute, please text 804-796-0845 immediately.
How long will the 9-hole round take?
The 2-man scramble format on Trackman is very efficient! Most teams finish their 9-hole match in approximately 75 to 90 minutes. This is why we run two shifts (6:30 PM and 8:00 PM) to ensure everyone gets their round in and has time for some social banter in the lounge.
What is the 2-Man Scramble format?
In a 2-man scramble, both players tee off. The team then chooses the best shot and both players play their next shot from that spot. This continues until the ball is holed. It’s a high-energy, low-stress format that allows teams to go low and stay competitive regardless of individual mistakes!
